A nutritional exam will be performed during your first nutritional visit at our office. This exam, along with a thorough health history, system survey and recent blood work, will help the doctor determine areas of the body that might need dietary or nutritional support.

Aspects of the nutritional exam include:

Chapman’s reflexes-to assess HCL and Pancreatic Enzyme production

Supine, seated and standing blood pressure

Ragland’s Test- test for adrenal stress

Murphy's Sign-to assess tenderness in the region of the gallbladder

Calcium Cuff Test-general test for tissue calcium levels

Oral PH- checks the pH of the saliva

Zinc Taste Test- test for zinc levels in the body
